HALA NASSER

Senior Associate

Ms. Hala Nasser is a trial lawyer, with 30 years of experience in litigation and arbitration, in the fields of maritime, intellectual property, renewable energy and construction including construction disputes before the Jordanian Courts and international arbitrations.

Hala holds an LL.M. degree from the London School of Economics & Political Sciences and speaks Arabic, English and French. Throughout her practice, Hala has advised a variety of domestic and international based clients, as well as diplomatic missions and non-governmental organisations in Jordan.

After twenty years of managing her late father’s law firm that was established back in 1934, Hala has decided to join Habayeb.

Hala has acted as counsel and arbitrator in ad-hoc and institutional arbitrations governed by the Jordanian Arbitration Law and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Hala has also pleaded before the Governing Council at the UN, Geneva Headquarters for cases filed before the UNCC. She has also been commissioned by the International Criminal Court at the Hague to assist in advising  the Prosecutor on issues and laws of the Middle East.
