Sami Habayeb established a legal practice firm in 1965 in Amman, Jordan to provide legal services to local and international clients. Sami obtained his law degree from Jerusalem, Palestine and qualified there. He then practiced the legal profession in Lebanon and Syria, before settling in Jordan.
Over the course of the firm’s almost 65 years of practice, it, represented a number of local, regional, and international clients. The firm has become renowned for their experience and knowledge of the Majalla, the Civil Code, and matters pertaining to Commercial and Maritime Law. Sami Habayeb represented Jordan as a member of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, from 1991 until 1996. In 2000 Sami handed the Baton over to his son Adib while attending to support the firm until he passed in 2022.
Adib Habayeb, Sami’s son, joined the practice in 1976 after obtaining his degree in law from Alexandria, Egypt. Adib became the Managing Partner in 2000, whereby he expanded the firm’s clientele. Adib is best known for his experience in Civil and Commercial Laws, engineering and construction claims and maritime disputes, as well as ad-hoc and international arbitrations. He represented Jordan as a member of the International Court of Arbitration in Paris from 2009 until 2018.
